The facsimile set of Personal Letters of Modern Celebrities in the Collections of Hunan Provincial Museum in five volumes is part of A Library of Hunan Literary Works and will be published by Yuelu Publishing House before March,2012.This paper discusses the important literary and historic values of this book from the aspects of modern politics,ideology,military affairs,economy,culture,education,the personal profiles and thoughts of the celebrities,the identification of their autographs and the appreciation of the art of calligraphy.
