“Linze County Court Decision on Land of the Sun Family in the First Year of Jianxing Period of Western Jin Dynasty”written on bamboo slips is the most complete Western Jin document on bamboo slips.Collation of the document more clearly reveals its content and value.It indicates that the Sun family belonged to the social class of land-holding peasants.Land ownership and buying and selling land were already in practice in the Hexi region during the Western Jin dynasty.Water projects and forestry continued the tradition of the Han dynasty and further developed.
