试论春秋战国时期的双连与多连器及相关问题

A Preliminary Study of Double-bodied and Multi-bodied Vessels from the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Periods and Related Issues

春秋战国时期的双连和多连铜器,直接源头是晚商和西周时期的双连和多连铜器、陶器和原始瓷器,其最早可追溯至新石器时代。此类器物种类多,分布地域广,且逐渐有南传之势,两广地区发现的多连陶器,可能与战国时期的楚国及统一后的秦王朝对两广地区的开发有关。双连的陶壶、提梁壶,可能有'合卺杯''连理杯'的功能,多连器的功能及文化寓意有待研究。

The double-bodied and multi-bodied bronzes of the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States periods have their direct source in the double-bodied and multi-bodied bronzes,earthenware and primitive porcelain vessels of the late Shang and Western Zhou period and remote source in similar earthenware from the Neolithic period.These vessels,of a great variety,are well-distributed and show the gradual trend of southward spread.The multi-bodied earthen vessels found in Guangdong and Guangxi are probably related to the development of this region by the State of Chu during the Warring States Period and by the Qin Empire after its unification of China.Double-bodied earthen pots and hoop-handled pots probably have the function of the'nuptial cup'and'betrothal cup',and the function and cultural connotation of multi-bodied vessels need further study.
