A Review on Theory and Practice of the Western Religious Correction

西方宗教矫正以神学救赎论、宗教转变论、社会学习和社会控制论为理论基础。监狱中的宗教矫正的活动主要有罪犯辅导和宗教教育等。宗教矫正活动具有非强制性、思想性、普适性、经济性、专业性和全面性等特征,不仅可以向罪犯提供希望并改造其日常行为,而且有提高罪犯自我认知、提供庇护、降低再犯率和减少监狱违规行为等作用。

The western religious correction is based on the theory about salvation,religious transition,social learning and social control theory.Religious correction activities in prisons are mainly about criminals’counseling and religious education.Religious correction activities have the characteristics of non-compulsory,ideological,universal,economic,professional and comprehensive.It can not only provide hope for criminals and reform their daily behaviors,but also improve criminals’self-awareness,provide shelter,reduce recidivism and prison violations.
