近些年来随着社会主义市场经济的深入发展,市管县体制的弊端日趋暴露,而新生的省管县体制在优化行政层级、推动县域经济发展方面的优越性愈发突出。文章对近年省直管县体制的优越性和改革的可操作性、省直管县体制推行遇到阻碍的研究成果进行了疏理,并对国外的主流观点即减少政府层级、增加地方政府自主权、充分发挥中心城市的经济辐射作用的观点做了介绍。
