怀化新晃县石钨溪、庵田、长乐坪旧石器地点发掘简报

Excavation of the Paleolithic Sites of Shiwuxi, Antian and Changleping in Xinhuang County of Huaihua City, Hunan Prorince

为配合上瑞高速公路从怀化至新晃段的建设,2004年7月~8月湖南省文物考古研究所会同怀化市、县文物部门一起对新晃县境内石钨溪、庵田、长乐坪3处旧石器地点进行了抢救性考古发掘。发掘出土和采集到一批石制品,这批石制品的特征属于“潕水文化类型”文化传统,推测其打制使用年代为旧石器时代中期。

In order to cooperated with the construction of the Shangrui highway of the section from Huaihua to Xinhuang,in July to August of 2004,Hunan provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology together with the heritage departments of Huaihua city and county made salvage archaeological excavations to the three Paleolithic sites of Shiwuxi,Antian,Changleping.There were a number of stone products be unearthed and collected stone products in these sites.The features of the stone products belong to the“Wu water culture type”cultural traditions,based which we can speculate that the ages of production and use of the stone products were middle Paleolithic period.
