石门发现一件玉人首

A Jade Head Was Discovered in Shimen County, Hunan Province

石门县丁家山遗址据推断为一石家河文化时期的遗存。该地曾于1986年出土1件玉人首。此件玉人首保存较完整、出土地点明确,对研究澧水流域新石器时期文化有重要价值,并为新石器时期玉器的断代提供了实物例证。

DingJiashan site in Shimen county was presumed to be a sample of the Shijiahe culture.They unearthed a jade head in 1986.The head is still relatively intact and the excavation site is in near perfect condition.This is an important study of Neolithic culture in Lishui river basin,and provides a similar example jade for this period.
