湖南新宁白面寨新石器时代遗址发掘报告

The Excavation of the Baimianzhai Neolithic Site in Xinning County, Hunan Province

2011年夏对新宁白面寨遗址的发掘,清理出一批新石器时代遗存。石器均为磨制;陶器以夹砂陶为主,多为褐陶、红陶,典型器物有绳纹圜底釜、刻划纹高领罐和凸棱凹沿罐,具有明显的地方特色。白面寨遗址年代约相当于晓锦文化二期,是一处临时性的防御遗址。

In the summer of 2011,Baimianzhai site in Xinning County was excavated and unearthed some Neolithic cultural remains.Stone artifacts are all ground tools;potteries possess clear local characteristics with the typical artifacts such as jomon round bottomed cauldron,incised high-collared pot and concave edge pot.The age of Baimianzhai site is equivalent with the second phase of Xiaojing Culture,and it is a temporary defending site.
