The Relation Between Chinese Words and Sound in kun Opera

中国传统声乐中的词曲关系有三种,即以乐传辞、依声填词和依字形腔。昆曲发声演唱中字声关系是字正腔圆、字重腔轻、字刚腔柔、字主腔宾。昆曲演唱中的字重腔轻的字声关系和欧洲民族唱法中字轻腔重的字声关系是有着质的区别,并且各有其审美基础。

There are three kinds of relations between words and opera in traditional Chinese vocal music,that are:compose words according to music,compose tune according to words and express words meaning bymusic.The relationship of words and sound in singing kun opera are:regular and standard cavity,heavy words with light covity,heavy words with soft cavity and principal words with subordinate cavity.Heavy words with light cavity in Kun opera is different from light words with heawy cavity in Europe,both with aesthetic fundation.
