翻译活动在人类历史上的各个时代、各个地区广泛存在,十分普遍。但在中世纪的阿拉伯帝国却演变成为一场轰轰烈烈、影响深远的文化运动。这个波澜壮阔、亘古未有的文化活动为什么会发生?又为什么会产生巨大的影响力?本文尝试从翻译运动产生、发展的原动力以及导致翻译运动产生巨大影响力的原因两个角度给予初步的分析。

Translation commonly exsist in all ages,all regions.However,in Middle Ages,Arab translation turned into a vigorous and far-reaching cultural movement.Why does this magnificent ancient cultural activities occur? Why does it have a huge influence? This paper attempts to give a preliminary analysis from the translation movement,the driving force and tremendous influence.
