东部苗语词汇萎缩原因探析

An Analysis of the Causes of Vocabulary’s Shrinkage of Miao Language

苗族语言是中华民族的重要文化遗产。由于历史事件的失传、生活方式的改变、风俗习惯的消失、强势语言的影响、新生一代的同化等原因,东部苗语词汇目前处于萎缩的状态。为了保护中华民族的多元化遗产,应采取多重措施予以抢救和保护,这有利于中华民族的大团结,有利于加快发展民族地区经济,有利于民族地区文化建设和精神文明建设,有利于民族文化的创新和发展。

Miao language is an important part of Chinese Cultural heritage.But the vocabulary of this language spoken in the east part is in a state of shrinkage because of the following reasons:the lost of historical records,changes in lifes- tyles,disappearance of customs,the influence of more powerful languages and the assimilation of the new generation.Many measures need to be taken to protect different forms of Chinese cultural heritage.Saving and protecting Miao language will be instrumental to the unity of Chinese nations,the growth of regional economy of Miao minority,the cultural development of the ethnic region,tile building of spiritual civilization and the innovation and development of the ethnic culture.
