Research on Non-governmental Universities’ Public Opinion Environment

改善舆论环境是湖南民办高校面临的一个重要课题,湖南民办高校应从自身形象建设出发,调查了解社会公众对自身的评价,正视和解决存在的问题;根据公众期待和自身实际设计形象塑造方案;结合民办高校的特点,从文化层、制度层和物质层三个层面全面塑造大学形象;并以高素质人才和优质文化成果服务于社区,塑造良好的大学形象。

To improve the environment of public opinion is an important subject that Hunan non-governmental uni- versities face.Hunan non-governmental universities should start from the building of their own images,investigate the e- valuation of general public as well as envisage and solve the existing problems.They should also design an image-building proposal according to public’s expectation and their own situations;build an overall image of universities from,three as- pects : the culture aspect,the system aspect and the material aspect.Finally,they should serve the society or the communi- ty with highly competent personnel and high-quality cultural pursuits so as to build a good image of a university.
