高职教育中专业英语教学必须突出“职业性”

The Vocational Character Should be Highlighted in Specialized English Teaching in Higher Vocational Education

对于专业英语教学,我国高职教育的问题不是"高等性"缺乏,而是"职业性"缺乏的问题。文章从语言的本质、高职教育与普通高等教育的区别、大学英语教学与专业英语教学的区别以及社会就业这四个方面分析了在高职教育中突出专业英语教学"职业性"的必要性;并且提出,解决这一问题可以从五方面入手:教师自身、课堂内容、教学手段、课外环境以及考试的内容和方法。

The author argues that the problem of specialized English teaching in Chinese higher vocational education ar- ea is not the lack of"higher character",but the lack of"vocational character".The essay analyzes the necessity of highlight- ing the vocational character in specialized English teaching in higher vocational education from four aspects: the nature of lan- guage,the difference between higher vocational education and regular higher education,the difference between college Eng- lish teaching and specialized English teaching as well as social employment.It also points out five aspects to solve this prob- lem: teaching staff,teaching content,teaching methods,exterior learning environment and the content and means of exams.
