The Idea of Social Education and its Realistic Significance in On Learning

摘要 最早的教学论专著《学记》的群育思想有鲜明特色,其内容主要体现于学生在学校的社会化过程中如何与人和睦相处,以达到修业进德的目的。其重视"师生交往"和"生生交往"的群育思想独具价值,在强调"学会做人"的新一轮基础教育课程改革中,具有重要的启迪意义。我们在国家教育方针中应明确提出"群育"目标。 In On Learning,the earliest monograph on teaching theories,there are distinctive characteristics about the idea of social education.Its content mainly reflects on how students can get along with others in socialization process in schools,so as to both perfect study at school and cultivate virtue.Attaching great importance to teacher-student interactions as well as students’ interactions,the idea of social education has its unique value.It is so significant in the new course reform of fundamental education where "Learning to Be" is emphasized.The target of social education should be explicitly stated in national educational policies.
