Contradiction and Coordination: Discussion on Current Chinese Private Higher Education Issues

当前我国民办高等教育发展存在诸多矛盾与冲突。正确协调办学公益性与资本求利性、巨大投资需求与投资渠道单一、规模扩张与质量保障、董事会与校长的矛盾与冲突,成为促进我国民办高等教育持续健康发展的重要方面。

Currently there are many conflicts and contradictions in the development of Chinese private higher education. It becomes an essential aspect in promoting healthy and sustainable development of Chinese private higher education to coordinate well the conflicts and contradictions between public interests and capital’s profit seeking, between vast demand of investment and sole channel of investment, between chairman of the board and the president of a college.
