文化产业作为朝阳产业,对于优化产业结构,拉动消费升级,促进社会全面发展有着重要的意义。党的十七届六中全会确立了建设社会主义文化强国的战略目标,对推动社会主义文化大发展大繁荣作出了战略部署,为湖南促进文化产业大发展带来了大好机遇。湖南文化产业经过多年的发展,取得了一定成绩,文化产业正朝着最具活力、最具竞争力、最具湖湘文化底蕴的特色产业目标迈进。湖南要保持优势、继续前进,必须用国际视野谋划和推动其文化产业发展,进一步创新机制,让湖南文化发展雄居更高领地。
