"文革音乐"是1966年至1976年间中国在特定的政治历史背景下产生的音乐文化现象,它可以称为是政治的工具,但作为一种艺术审美研究现象,却不仅是政治的产物,更多是诠释了那个时代的主流思想和谐美精神的回归。前不久,"文革音乐"研究还是中国现当代音乐史研究的禁区,但同时它又是中国音乐发展史的重要组成部分,必须对其进行全方位研究,对"文革音乐"进行仔细、深入、具体的分析。

Music in the Cultural Revolution is a musical and cultural phenomenon occurred in the particular political and historical background of China between 1966 and 1976. It can be called a political tool, but as a phenomenon of aesthetic studies, it is more than a product of politics but an interpretation of the mainstream thinking of that time as well as return of the spirit of harmonious beauty. Not long ago, the research on music in the Cultural Revolution was still a restricted area in the historic study of modern and contemporary Chinese music; but at the same time, it is an essential composing part of Chinese music development history, which must be studied thoroughly, carefully and specifically.
