中国古诗是一种极致的文学表现形式,古人通过模糊含蓄的语言将自己凝练的情感浓缩在诗的格律里,以委婉的形式表现出来。尤其诗的点睛之笔——意象,更是语言模糊性在古诗中的体现。意象这个植根于中国文化大背景的模糊语言,如果译成英文,其韵味必然会出现亏损;鉴于此,在古诗的翻译中,模糊语言存在不可译性。

Ancient poems are an exquisite literature form. The ancients used to express their feelings in euphemistic way through vague language in the rules and forms of classical poems. Imagery is the best embodiment of vagueness, which roots in Chinese culture. If translated into English, something inner must be lost. Considering this, it is concluded that classical poems display in the way of untranstability.
