On the Need of Complying with the Industry Ethics Regulations in the Translation of Spanish Notarization

所有从事专业领域工作的人,常被要求恪守特定的道德标准。在西班牙,公证事务翻译(笔译和口译)虽然也有要求履行相应职责和注重公证相关文书的真实性,但事实上并不存在相关的道德条例和准则来规范其工作。尽管如此,在西班牙却仍有一些专业化协会为相关行业人员制定了对其专业实践行为具有约束力的道德条例。其根本目的在于保障该领域的专业服务质量。本论文考虑到公证事务翻译工作的特殊性与所面临的形势特点,试图研究强调建立相应行业道德标准的必要性。

All those who are engaged in professional work are often required to abide by specific ethic standards. In Spain, although the translation of notarization(both translating and interpreting) is required to perform relevant duties and pay attention to the notarization of the authenticity of the related documents, in fact, there exist no relevant erhics regulations and guidelines to standardize the work. Nevertheless, a number of professional associations in Spain formulate moral regulations for the binding of the professional practices, whose fundamental purpose is to guarantee the quality of professional services in the field. Considering the special characteristics and features of the situation, the paper tries to study the necessity of establishing the ethical standards of the industry.
