摘要
自然拼读法是英语本土国家学习英语的必学课程,在国外已有上百年的教学历史。自2000年以来,台湾首先引进此法,在国内也有不少研究,初见成效。众所周知,大多数艺术生英语基础不好,英语学习兴趣不浓,笔者把自然拼读法运用于艺术生词汇拼写教学中。在实验班实施自然拼读法,在对照班实施国际音标教学,主要通过听写测试来研究自然拼读法是否能快速提高大学艺术生英语词汇拼写水平。研究结果表明,自然拼读法能快速提高大学艺术生英语词汇拼写水平,进而提高学生学习兴趣,在一定程度上改善了英语学习现状。
In the native English countries phonics is a course that must be taken. It has had a teaching history for centuries. In 2000 Taiwan introduced the method for the first time. Since then there have been many studies which have achieved initial success at home. As is known to all, most college arts students have poor English foundation and lack interest in English learning. In view of this, the author of this paper applies phonics to college arts students’ vocabulary teaching by implementing phonics in the experimental class while implementing IPA teaching in the control class, mainly using dictation tests to investigate whether phonics can quickly improve college arts students’ English vocabulary spelling level. As the results show, this method does quickly improve vocabulary spelling for college arts students and improve students’ interest in learning. To a certain extent, it improves English learning situation.
