A Comparative Study of Lao Tzu Thought and the Stoicism

老子和斯多亚学派是中国和西方思想史中都占据着极其重要的位置的思想流派,而在不同地域和时代中,两种思想都出现诸多的相似性。笔者从本体论、运动观、自然法、政治思想和其生活态度上进行比较分析,旨在从两者对后代社会产生重大影响的哲学流派中发现其一致性的思想与中西早期社会中的文化共通现象。

Lao Tzu thought and the Stoicism both occupy an extremely important position in the school of thought. And in different regions and times, there are many similarities between the two ideas. The author makes a comparative analysis from ontology, movement view, natural law, political thought and life attitude, aiming to find the idea of consistency in the two schools of philosophy which have great influence on the offspring society and the cultural common phenomena in the early eastern and western societies.
