Brief Analysis of Characteristics and Causes of Sino-US Trade Friction

自中美贸易发展以来,受政治因素的影响,可将中美贸易摩擦划分为初步摩擦时期、进一步摩擦时期、深度摩擦时期,最后是碰撞摩擦时期,表现为升级的贸易对抗。究其原因是四个方面导致的:两国在贸易中存在着众多的不平衡,贸易逆差严重;美国政府奉行“美国优先”政策,破坏多边贸易体制;美国视中国经济体制为“非市场经济”,实行反倾销调查;遏制中国的崛起,维护美国自身的地位,以及战略方向因素。

Since the development of Sino-US trade,under the influence of political factors,Sino-us trade friction can be divided into initial period of friction,the period of further friction,the period of deep friction,and finally the period of collision friction which are shown as the upgraded trade confrontation.There are four reasons for the friction.Firstly,due to the numerous imbalances in the trade between the two countries,the trade deficit is serious.Secondly,the US government pursues the policy of"America first"and undermines the multilateral trading system.Thirdly,the US regards China's economic system as a"non-market economy"and implements anti-dumping investigation to prevent the rise of China and uphold the status of itself.Lastly there are the factors of strategies.
