基于岭回归的湖南省住户存款余额影响因素分析

Analysis on Influencing Factors of Hunan Residents’ Deposit Balance Based on Ridge Regression

The basic principles and application characteristics of ridge regression are introduced in the paper.And the method of Ridge regression method is used to analyze the relationship between household deposits in Hunan and urban residents’income,rural residents’income,urbanization rate and population size.The research shows that the largest impact on the household deposits in Hunan is the income of rural residents,the smallest is the population number,and the income of urban residents also has a significant impact on household deposits.It is mainly caused by the rapid growth of rural residents in Hunan,the low urbanization rate,the large number of agricultural population and the poor sense of farmers’consumption.The coefficient gap between the four factors is not large,indicating that all of them have an important impact on household deposits in Hunan.
