珠海市接尘工人结核病防治核心信息健康教育的效果评价

Evaluation on effect of health education on key message of tuberculosis prevention and treatment among dust-exposed worker

目的 :了解珠海市接尘工人人群对结核病防治核心信息的知晓情况,评价对接尘工人实施结核病健康教育的效果。方法 :采用简单随机抽样方法,选取珠海市600名没有结核病史的接尘工人为调查对象,按照年龄性别1∶2匹配,随机分为干预组(200人)和对照组(400)。对干预组实施结核病防治核心信息健康教育,并对干预组和对照组使用统一问卷进行面对面询问式调查,采用SPSS13.0软件进行统计分析。结果 :与对照组(63.3%)相比,干预组结核病防治核心信息的总知晓率(89.6%)显著提高。按年龄、性别、民族和文化程度分层分析后,干预组各层结核病防治核心信息总知晓率仍显著高于对照组。结论 :珠海市接尘工人结核病防治核心信息的知晓率仍然较低,对干预组实施结核病防治核心信息健康教育后可以显著提高接尘工人结核病防治核心信息的认知。

Objective To evaluate the effect of health education on key message on tuberculosis prevention and treatment among dust-exposed workers Methods In the present study, we recruited 600 dust-exposed workers with no history of tuberculosis from Zhuhai(Guangdong, China) with simple random sampling method. Then, according to age and sex, they were randomly divided into intervention group(200 people) and control group(400) by 1∶ 2 matching. Intervention group was conducted health education on key message of tuberculosis prevention and treatment. Intervention group and control group were interviewed face-to-face with a unified questionnaire. All analyses were conducted using SPSS 16.0 software. Results It was shown that, intervention group had significantly higher overall awareness rate than control group. After stratified analysis by age, sex, race and cultural level, intervention group still had significantly higher overall awareness rate than control group in each layer. Conclusion There is still a relatively low overall awareness rate on key message of tuberculosis prevention and treatment among dust-exposed workers in Zhuhai. However, a health education can significantly improved the awareness of tuberculosis prevention and treatment.
