摘要
目的探讨外周血内皮祖细胞(endothelial progenitor cells,EPCs)水平与胃癌临床指标的相关性。方法 55例胃癌患者为胃癌组,44例慢性胃炎患者为胃炎组,46例体检健康者为对照组。采用流式细胞仪计数3组外周血EPCs数量,分析外周血EPCs数量与胃癌患者年龄、性别、TNM分期及肿瘤分化程度等临床指标的相关性。结果胃癌组患者外周血EPCs数量[(20.20±13.90)个/mL]明显高于胃炎组[(6.00±2.80)个/mL]和对照组[(4.10±2.60)个/mL](P<0.01),胃炎组与对照组比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);胃癌组中,年龄≤57岁患者外周血EPCs数量[(24.00±16.70)个/mL]高于>57岁患者[(15.00±9.40)个/mL](P<0.05),TNM分期Ⅲ、Ⅳ期患者外周血EPC数量[(29.36±14.48)、(33.33±18.92)个/mL]高于Ⅰ、Ⅱ期患者[(12.67±6.70)、(15.17±9.24)个/mL](P<0.01),低分化胃癌患者外周血EPC数量[(27.72±15.02)个/mL]高于中、高分化患者[(14.63±12.07)、(13.73±8.11)个/mL](P<0.01);男性患者外周血EPCs数量[(19.00±8.40)个/mL]与女性[(21.00±13.60)个/mL]比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论胃癌患者外周血EPCs数量增加,与年龄和疾病进展相关,可作为胃癌临床诊断、分期及预后判断的生物标志物。
Objective To explore the correlation between endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs)and the clinical indexes of gastric cancer.Methods The EPCs counts in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry in 55 patients with gastric cancer(gastric cancer group),44 patients with chronic gastritis patients(gastritis group)and 46 healthy volunteers(control group).The correlations of EPCs with the age,sex,TNM stage and histological differentiation degree were analyzed.Results The EPCs count was significantly higher in gastric cancer group((20.20±13.90)cells/mL)than that in gastritis group((6.00±2.80)cells/mL)and control group((4.10±2.60)cells/mL)(P<0.01),and there was no significant difference between gastritis group and control group(P>0.05).In gastric cancer group,the EPCs count in patients aged ≤57years((24.00±16.70)cells/mL)was significantly higher than that in patients aged >57years((15.00±9.40)cells/mL)(P<0.05),and the EPCs counts were significantly higher in patients with TNM Ⅲ and Ⅳ((29.36±14.48),(33.33±18.92)cells/mL)than those in patients with TNM Ⅰ and Ⅱ((12.67±6.7),(15.17±9.24)cells/mL)(P<0.01).The EPCs count was significantly higher in patients with poorly differentiated gastric cancer((27.72±15.02)cells/mL)than that in patients with moderately and highly differentiated gastric cancer((14.63±12.07),(13.73±8.11)cells/mL)(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in EPCs count between the males((19.00±8.40)cells/mL)and the females((21.00±13.60)cells/mL)(P>0.05).Conclusion The EPCs count increases in patients with gastric cancer,which is associated with patients' age and tumor progress.Therefore,EPCs could be used as a potential biomarker for the diagnosis,staging and prognosis of gastric cancer.
