《傅青主男科》中肉桂的选用灵活多变,有补火之用,有温阳之用,有引水之用,借助药量的选择和药物配伍来发挥不同功效。书中肉桂多用于治疗因于寒或因于肾或因于阳虚的痰证、吐证、男科病证、痛证以及内科杂症等。傅山在运用肉桂时多配伍温里药以补火助阳、引火归原;配伍补气药在补气同时温补阳气,使阳盛而气足;配伍利水药可温阳化气以利水祛湿。傅山通过对肉桂不同剂量的使用,使得肉桂的应用更加灵活,对临床具有指导意义。

In Fu Qing-zhu′s Andrology,Rougui(Cortex Cinnamomi) is used flexibly,with the function of nourishing fire,warming yang and removing water retention,all of which use the choice of dosage and drug compatibility to exert different effects.Rougui is mostly used to treat phlegm syndrome,vomiting syndrome,male diseases,pain syndrome and internal medical miscellaneous diseases caused by cold or kidney deficiency or yang deficiency.When using Cinnamon,Fu Shan often combines with medicinals for warming the interior to supplement fire and promote yang,so as to cause fire to return to its original state,or combines qi-tonifying medicinals with warming yang qi to supplement yang qi,or with medicinals for promoting urination to warm yang qi and remove dampness.Through the use of different doses of Rougui,Fushan makes the application of Rougui more flexible,which has guiding significance for clinical practice.
