Wang Zhen-liang′s Experience of Treating Ankylosing Spondylitis

王振亮教授将强直性脊柱炎辨证分为:脾肾亏虚,痰湿痹阻型;肾阳亏虚,寒凝湿阻型;肝肾亏虚,痰瘀痹阻型;寒凝督脉,经腧不利型;寒热错杂,络脉不畅型。针对不同证型分别给予腰痛汤、二藤附子汤、独活寄生汤、当归四逆加吴茱萸生姜汤、桂枝芍药知母汤加减治疗,收效颇佳。

Professor Wang Zhen-liang divides the syndrome differentiation of ankylosing spondylitis into the following:phlegm-dampness obstruction type due to deficiency of spleen and kidney,cold-congealing-dampness obstruction type due to kidney-yang deficiency,phlegm-stasis obstruction type due to deficiency of liver and kidney,unsmooth meridian type due to cold-congealing govern vessel,and collateral obstruction type due to intermingled cold and heat.He gives different syndromes different decoction separately:Backache-Removing Decoction,Caulis Sinomenii and Radix Tripterygii Wilfordii and Aconite Decoction,Pubescent Angelica and Mistletoe Decoction,Chinese Angelica Frigid Extremities Decoction plus Evodia and Fresh Ginger Decoction,Cinnamon Twig and Peony and Rhizoma Anemarrhenae Decoction,and always achieves a remarkable efficacy.
