长江水利委员会设计院转企建制后将面临激烈的市场竟争 ,加快信息化建设的步伐将加强设计院的市场竞争力。长江委设计院从 2 0世纪 70年代就开展了应用计算机进行设计的工作。目前 ,正在以网络为支撑 ,建设集成化的应用系统 ,全面提升信息化的水平。对设计行业办公自动化软件的选型、采购以及系统集成进行了分析。在提高设计手段方面着重描述三维可视化 ,工程仿真系统的建立可以解决工程中许多重大的问题 ,从而保证设计质量 ,降低成本 。

The design institute of Changjiang Water Resources Commission will face a intensive market competition, therefore speeding up the IT application is an urgent task to sharpen the market competitive edge of the design institute. From 1970s, the design institute has carried out design work using computer. At present, based on the network technology, the integrated application system is under construction to upgrade the level of IT application. This paper introduces the selection and purchase of office automation software for design profession, and analysis of system integration. The establishment of 3 dimension visualization and engineering computer simulation system are described emphatically. They may solve many important issues in project design and guarantee the design quality, reduce the project cost and speed up construction progress.
