一、韩国经济的发展1992年,韩国国民生产总值达到2,800多亿美元,人均6,490美元。对外贸易额为1,500多亿美元。从国民生产总值和贸易额来看,均已跻身于世界前15名之列。韩国钢铁产量已达到2,570万吨,是世界第8大钢铁生产国。汽车年产量为153万辆,出口40万辆,是世界第7大汽车生产国。1992年船舶出口达到43亿美元,仅次于日本,占世界第2位。

Supported with latest facts and figures,the article retrospects the thirty-year history of the R.O.K.'s economic development and concludes that Korean economy is now facing a serious setback which downgrades the R.O.K.to the 5th place among the NIEs even after Malaysia.As for the Sino-Korean economic and trade relations,the article holds an optimistic attitude basing on the strong complementarity and interdependence between the two countries.Given the increasingly growing Korean investment in China's coastal cities,the author expects an even broader scope of cooperation to come.
