大学英语教学的困境与对策

On Solution to the Dilemma of College English Teaching

通过对当前大学英语教学现状的剖析与思考 ,指出解决大学英语教学困境的根本出路在于提高大学英语教学的课堂效果 ,强调语言的实践是产生内化 (外语教学的最终目的 )的必由之路 ,并因此提出汉译英口头翻译教学法是解决这一问题的有效途径 ,进而初步分析了实施这一教学法的可行性与可操作性。

Basing on some analysis and probation into the status quo of current College English teaching,this paper points out that the essential way out of the dilemma of College English teaching is to improve its classroom effect; stresses that practice is the only way to the internalization of language (the ultimate goal of foreign language teaching and learning); consequently advances that Chinese-English oral translation teaching approach is an efficient solution to this problem facing us; and finally offers an elementary analysis as to the possibility and practicability of this approach.
