The Discussion about MAO Ze -dong' s Correct Handling of the Contraditions among the People

1956年,社会主义制度得以基本确立,面对一些新情况、新问题,毛泽东提出了正确处理人民内部矛盾的理论。对于我们认识与处理社会主义社会的各种矛盾尤其是人民内部矛盾提供了重大的理论及实践指导意义。但由于时代与历史的局限,这个理论也存在一些缺陷与不足。正确认识它,有助于认识现阶段党的各项方针政策。

After the establishment of the socia list system in China in 1956,faced wi th some new problems and difficulties,Mao Ze -dong who advan ced a new theory -correct handling th e contradictions among the people.I t provided us with a theoretic and pratical guid ance to our recognition and treatmen t of variety of contradictions in socialist soci-ety,especially those among people.However,limited by the times and the history the theory could not be free f rom defects and inadequacy.Correct understanding of it is helpful to a dear i nterpretation about each of general and specific policies of CCP at present.
