摘要
"信息"的哲学问题由来已久,但一直未引起哲学界真正重视。最近西方哲学界提出"信息哲学"(philoso phyofinformation,简称PI)研究纲领,把"信息"作为哲学基本概念列入研究范畴,认为它和存在、知识、意义具有同等重要的基础性地位。哲学面临着信息转向。本文将着重介绍信息哲学这门新兴的、具有交叉科学性质的哲学学科是如何成为可能的。
The philosophical problems of information have long been under consideration,but they have failed to draw serious attention from philosophers.Recently,the western community of philosophy put forward a research programme of the philosophy of information(PI),in which information is formerly claimed as a research category among the fundamental concepts and the concept of information is regarded to have the same important basic position as those of being,knowledge and meaning.Philosophy is facing the information turn.This essay gives out an introduction of how this new and interdisciplinary branch of philosophy comes into being.
