中国高等师范教育的奠基者李蒸(1895-1975)在战时教育方面有着独特的认识,他提出:战时教育以"养成国家观念"和"培养民族意识"为主旨;"国家的出路只在决心抗日","决心抗日的成效必须有赖于教育";"战后教育的建设将决定民族之盛衰成败";"探本之论者""民族之托命在教育,教育之本源在师范"等重要教育思想。它既为中国战时高等教育理论的高度概括,也是世界民族解放运动关于教育的宝贵遗产,表明没有纯粹的教育独立,战时教育的独立必须与民族的独立解放为前提,才会有持久的生命力。

Li Zheng(1895-1975),the founder of Chinese higher normal education has a specific understanding of the wartime education,claiming that the wartime education is committed to patriotism,resolute resistance against Japanese,development of education as a national strategy,and improvement of teachers for the education.All this reflects higher educational theories during the war,ethnic emancipation campaigns,and independence of the wartime education.
