前景化给文学翻译实践带来很大启发,是评价文学翻译文本的一个视角。前景语言可能出现在语言系统任何一个层面上,《简·爱》中语音、语法和语义的前景化在译文中的表达相当重要。通过《简·爱》中的前景语言译例分析可知,保留原文的前景化才能更好地保留原文的文体价值,而前景化要依赖背景来识别。一般来说,直译或异化能最大限度地保留原文的前景化,因此译者应以前景化译前景化,否则就要变通。

Foregrounding is a great enlightenment to literary translation practice and is also a perspective of criticizing literary translated text.It probably shows itself in any level of the linguistic system.The foregrounding in the phonetics,grammar and semantics of Jane Eyre are very important in their transference in TL.From the analysis of the foregrounded examples of the novel,it is known that retaining SL foregrounding can retain SL stylistic value;foregrounding relies on identification of background.Generally speaking,literal translation or the foreignizing method facilitates keeping SL foregrounding,thus the translator is supposed to transfer foregrounding as it is or,if not possible,use adaptation.
