摘要
课堂教学是学生掌握英语的重要途径,如何让学生在有限的课堂时间内大量使用英语,提高学生听说运用能力,是我国大学英语课堂教学一直想要解决的问题。通过对比中美两国外语课堂在教学内容、教学方法、外语与母语使用比例以及课程考核方面的差异,分析我国大学英语课堂教学中存在的问题并指出其原因。
Classroom teaching is an important way for students to master the language of English. How to make the students extensively use English in limited class time and improve their ability in speaking and listening are what we have been trying to solve in university English teaching. Through comparing Chinese and American classroom teaching from the following four aspects: foreign language teaching content, teaching methods, the proportion of using foreign language and mother tongue and course evaluation,this paper points out the problems in China's English classroom teaching and analyzes the reasons.
