Shen Zhi-yuan is one of the economists introducing the Marxist political economy into China and has made outstanding contribution in localizing Marxist Political Economyin China.During the long period of revolutionary struggle and socialist construction,Shen Zhi-yuan always adhered to the principles and methods of scientific socialism,combined with Marxist classical theory,the philosophical essentials of dialectical materialism and the reality of China,organically deepening and unifying theoretical innovation,the propaganda of Marxism and practical work.His rich writings,distinct views and enlightening thoughts have made important contributions to the early localization,exploration and development of Marxism in China.
