摘要
ArcScan是ARC/INFO的一个扫描矢量化模块，应用ArcScan为GIS空间数据库建库工作带来了全新的概念。文章总结分析了ArcScan扫描矢量化软件模块的特点、操作流程。根据实践应用认为：ArcScan用于GIS的建库工作，可大大提高图形数据录入的效率和准确性。扫描矢量化软件在GIS建库中有广阔的应用前景。
A fully-new concept, i.e. building GIS spatial database with Arc Scan that is a scanning vectorized module of ARC/INF-O, is put forward and the characteristics and operational procedure of the module are also summarized and analyzed in the paper. Practice indicates that use of Arc Scan in bui-lding GIS database could improve greatly efficiency and acc-uracy of logging graph data. It can be predicated that Arc Sc-an will have broad application prospect in building GIS dat-abase.
