浅谈禽流感

On Bird Flu

禽流行性感冒(Avian Influenza,AI)是由禽流行性病毒引起的高度接触性传染病,简称禽流感。本病传播迅猛,常呈流行性或大流行性发生。高致病性禽流感(HPAI)是危害养禽业及人类健康的Ⅰ类烈性传染病。该病1878年首次报道于意大利,目前世界上许多国家和地区都有爆发和流行。1994年证实禽流感在我国鸡群中已有发生。

Avian influenza is caused by the virus of AI. It's a kind of acute highly contiguous infectious dis- ease. We call it bird flu for short. The disease spreads at an amazing speed appearing popularly and fashiona- bly. HPAI is a kind of I class of fiercely infectious disease which is harmful not only to bird raising industry, but to the health of human beings as well. The disease was reported to be found in Italy in 1878 for the first time. Presently many countries in the world have reported the occurance of the disease. In 1994, the infec- tious disease proved to happen among chickens in chain.
