The Importance of Motivation in the Making of A Good Language Learner

本文意图研究语言学习中学者的动机因素,并且列出了许多相关理论。通过对一系列成功的语言学者特性的研究,总结出一些教学方面的启示,有助于教师在教学中运用动机因素帮助学生成为成功的语言学者。

This paper intends to study the importance of learner's motivation in language learning and lists out many theories of motivation. Through the enumeration of the characteristics shared by good language learners,pedagogical implications on the use of motivation in teaching are given to help the students to be good language learners.
