正规学术刊物上发表的论文必须配有英文标题.汉语论文标题语言简练,概括性强,有的还使用修辞手段或用典,英译起来颇费神.对国内一些专业学术刊物上的论文标题英译研究发现,论文标题有一些基本特点,其翻译方法可归纳为几个基本类型.

Titles of the Chinese papers to be published in academic journals must be translated into English,and the translation is oftentimes no easy job because of the special features of the Chinese language.But a close study of the translation of the tides of the papers published reveals that the titles have certain characteristics and can be classified into some categories,and the translation of them fall into some general patterns.
