A Summary of the Theory of Terror Management

摘要 本文介绍了恐惧管理理论的基本观点和基本假设;综述了近端、远端(自尊和文化世界观)、亲密关系等防御机制,并简述了其它理论对恐惧管理理论新的阐释;分析了恐惧管理理论实证研究的现状。 The paper introduces the basic view points and fundamental assumptions of terror man-agement theory,summarizes the defense mechanism like proximal end and distal end(self esteem and cultural world outlook) and intimacy,etc.,and states the new interpretations made by other theories towards the terror management theory,and analyzes the current situations of the theory.
