在改革开放、西部大开发的大潮流中,新千年的内蒙古草原的那达慕也逐年发生着翻天覆地的变化——从家庭式那达慕开始,如今已衍化成国际那达慕,说明草原牧民的生活有了极大的改善,从而也使草原文化走向国际、走向世界。鄂尔多斯首届国际那达慕正是表现了草原文化的这一典型变化。

As the reforming and opening to the world, and the new large-scale development of the western region, the Naadam of the Prairie of Inner Mongolia in the new millennium has changed greatly year by year. From the beginning of the Family Naadam, it is now derived into the international Naadam. This shows that the life of herdsmen has been improved greatly, so the Prairie culture has going towards the world. Be different from the Naadam before, the First International Naadam in Ordos is a performance of the typical Prairie culture.
