浅议翻译与宗教的辩证关系

A Brief Discussion on the Dialectical Relationship between Translation and Religion

本文以唯物辩证法的对立统一规律为指导,从事物间的统一与斗争这两方面讨论了翻译与宗教的关系。宗教在其传播之初借助翻译的力量壮大了信教人群,翻译的理论也因此得到相应的发展。但翻译的继续发展却反过来在一定程度上阻碍了宗教的既定传播走向。

This paper aims to analyze the dialectical relationship between translation and religion from the aspects of unification and conflict under the guidance of the law of the unity of opposites from materialist dialectics. Religions have had enlarged the numbers of believers with the help of translation while the theories of translation have developed as well. However, the further progress of translation would in turn hinder the trend of religions in some certain degree.
