摘要
我国西部地区教育公平呈现出三大特征:教育起点公平得到明显改善,与全国特别是东部省份教育公平指数差距十分明显和西部地区省份间教育公平指数参差不齐。通过建立以人均GDP和教育传统为自变量的教育公平指数模型,发现西部地区教育公平指数与人均GDP和教育传统具有较强的正相关性。对比还发现,人均GDP和教育传统对教育公平指数的贡献呈现出逐渐增加的趋势。本文还提出了促进教育公平的几点建议。
Education equity in western China takes on three important characteristics--significantly improved starting equity, noticeable differences in equity index from the nation, especially from the eastern provinces, and the uneven equity index among the western provinces. By establishing the education equity index model in that per capita GDP and the educational traditions serve as independent variables, the education equity index in western China has been found to have a strong positive correlation to per capita GDP and the education traditions. The comparison also witnesses that contributions from the per capita GDP and education traditions to the equity index show a gradual growing trend. And some suggestions on the development of education equity have been put forward in the paper.
