A Brief Analysis of the Deviation of Values of Present-day College Students

高等院校作为培养高层次人才和科学研究的重要基地,历来是新思想、新文化的发源地和集散地。特别是改革开放以来,左的禁锢被打破,政府对不同的思想观点和文化现象也采取较为宽容的态度。在此背景下,作为思想活跃但又不够成熟的大学生群体自然置身于各种思想交锋的漩涡之中,导致大学生思想观念取向的多元化,令人担忧的是一部分大学生世界观、人生观、价值观严重扭曲,与中华民族的传统文化和时代主旋律背道而驰,如此发展下去将会造成严重后果。因此对大学生中出现的价值观偏差现象进行深入调查和研究是一件紧迫而有意义的工作。

As an important base for cultivating high-level talents and carrying out scientific research, institutions of higher learning are always the birth lands and distributing centers for new ideas and new culture. Especially since the reform and opening up of China, the leftleaning confine is broken; the government is more tolerant to different thoughts, ideas and cultural phenomena. Against this background, college students, who are active in thoughts but not matured enough, are in the maelstrom of kinds of thoughts fighting against each other, and it is inevitable to result in the diversification of their ideology orientation. It is worrying that some students' world outlook, outlook on life and values all get distorted, which runs counter to Chinese traditional culture and the theme of the time, which will cause serious results if such a development continues. Therefore, it is meaningful and urgent to deeply investigate and conduct research into the values deviation appearing among college students.
