"大河套文化圈"是分布于内蒙古自治区中西部乃至中国西北地区地缘影响力最大的文化复合区,也是草原文化特色鲜明的最大承载区域。这一文化圈,地跨内蒙古、宁、甘、陕、晋、冀六省区,辐射中蒙两国,既有特色鲜明的文化核心区,又有深远广泛的延展区,是祖先们留在这片热土上的多彩瑰丽的文化宝藏,是用之不竭的文化资源。通过阐述确立大河套文化圈的必要性和重要性,为建立大河套地域观、文化观,在更大视阈下提升河套文化内涵品位,聚力打造河套文化品牌提供理论基础。

Great Hetao Cultural Circle, located in northern China, is not only the most influential cultural complex but also the biggest bearing zone of prairie culture, straddling six provinces namely Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shanxi and Hebei, and bordering on Mongolia. As an extending area as well as a distinctive cultural core area, the circle is the cultural treasures and the inexhaustible cultural resources forefathers left behind to this piece of land. The paper highlights the necessity and significance of the establishment of Great Hetao Cultural Circle, which is hoped to provide theoretical guidance for fostering the regional and cultural outlook of Great Hetao, building Hetao Culture Brand and promoting the cultural connotation of Hetao area.
