Based on the research on origin and development of Chinese characters, together with principles of the coinage and formation, the paper probes into their creative forms in graphic design. As a visual performance element, Chinese characters show their great vitality and infection. It is hoped that the in-depth and systematic study on Chinese characters will further expand the space and road of artistic development of China.
