Status Analysis of Undergraduate Thesis on British and American Literature of English majors in Hetao College

毕业论文是本科阶段教学成果的集中体现,就河套学院英语专业2016届、2017届毕业生文学方向毕业论文现状进行分析,得出学生的毕业论文选题偏窄、分析角度陈旧、内容编排不合理、语言不规范、对论文格式不熟悉、逻辑关系不够严谨的结论,此研究希望对以后的论文指导工作提供借鉴。

Graduation thesis is the reflection of teaching results during undergraduate period. Based on the status analysis of undergraduate thesis on British and American literature of English majors graduating in 2016 and 2017 from Hetao College, the paper works out the following problems in thesis, namely the narrow range of topics, old-fashioned analysis perspective, unreasonable content arrangement, the use of nonstandard language, being unfamiliar with the thesis format and the lack of rigorous logic. And it is hoped that the paper will offer reference for thesis supervision
