Research on Graduation Thesis Problems of English Major Students in Newly-formed Universities and the Guidance Countermeasures

新建本科院校英语专业毕业论文主要存在撰写不规范、选题范围窄、缺少创新点、学术风气不严谨等问题,给论文指导也带来了巨大挑战。针对这些问题,提出了相应的指导对策,目的是提高英语专业学生毕业论文的写作质量。

Main graduation thesis problems of English major students in newly-formed universities are the lack of standardization in writing, narrow range of topics, old-fashioned analysis perspective, less rigorous academic atmosphere, etc., bringing challenges to thesis supervision. Corresponding guidance countermeasures on these problems are presented in the paper to improve the graduation thesis quality of English major students.
