Who lives a bitter and chaste life like her——A Brief Analysis of Fang Weiyi's Poetry

随着晚明女性意识的逐渐觉醒,女性诗人创作迅速繁荣。其诗作数量之大、题材之广泛、诗人数量之众,均为前朝所不能企及。其中,苦志守节的贞烈女性尤为令人叹惋,以"方氏三节"中的方维仪为例,通过探究其人生经历与诗文才华,进而管窥明末清初贞烈女性的生存状况与诗文风格。

with the gradual awakening of female consciousness in the late Ming Dynasty, the creation of female poets is booming. The number of poems, the wide range of subjects, and the number of poets were unmatched by the previous dynasties. Among them, the chaste women of bitterness are particularly regretted. By taking Fang Weiyi of "The Fangs Sisters" for instance, the existence and poetry style of the chaste women in the late Ming and the early Qing Dynasty are studied through exploring her life experience and poetic talent.
